I am extremely proud of the website and logo that I had designed. After getting several designs of logos, this was the logo that immediately stuck. After a few minor adjustments in consultation with the designer, I came up with my own logo. My day could not be any better. The website is now also up and running and everything is linked to the socials. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Nature has a lot to offer. Yet for me (and many other people) wood and ceramics remain the most beautiful products. This is because they are mostly natural, sustainable products that can often be reused. While orienting I came across some specially used wood, such as: old wagon boards, old sleepers, and my favorite: the old cheese board. In addition, there are of course also various new types of wood available, such as mango wood, olive wood, teak and cork. These are also all sustainable types of wood.
Portugal is known for its colorful ceramic crockery and traditional tiles on the facades of houses. These are all handmade and that makes each one unique. How nice is it to combine these two products in, for example, a tapas board. And during my search I found out that with cork much more is possible than a simple stopper on a wine bottle. This material has a lot of potential for everyday use items.
It became clear quite quickly that the company name would become 'Vida Pura'. Vida Pura is Portuguese for 'pure life' and that is what I stand for. On April 1st, 2021 I started my company. Went to the Chamber of Commerce in the morning and arranged the last things to officially become the owner of my company. Ordered a CO2 laser device and converted my shed into a workshop. We also immediately picked up quite a few different materials to see which products engrave in the most beautiful way. What a beautiful device; engraves razor sharp in all different materials.
